La Forêt – Home of Events is a wedding and event venue in Florești, about 20 minutes from the centre of Cluj-Napoca. It opened in autumn 2022 and sits at the edge of a forest. Compared with the classic ballrooms in the city, the atmosphere is more natural and more welcoming, and that is what I notice first every time I work here. I photographed one of the first weddings held at La Forêt, and I have been back since.
An outdoor wedding venue in Cluj-Napoca, with a plan B built in
The main hall is elegant and spacious, with a generous terrace beside it. When the weather is good, the party moves outside to the terrace, which looks straight onto the trees. When it rains, everything moves indoors without any major changes. Large glass doors connect the hall and the terrace, so guests move between the two spaces freely. For couples who want an outdoor wedding in Transylvania but do not want to gamble on the weather, this layout is the main reason to choose La Forêt.
Capacity
The main hall holds up to 200 guests, and the terraces can host another 100. That makes room for up to 300 guests if you use both spaces. The hall is bright, with tall windows facing the forest.

Photographing a wedding at La Forêt
The terrace and the tree line give me soft light and clean backgrounds in the afternoon, and the glass doors let me photograph the party from inside and outside without interrupting anything.
