When a couple asks me where to hold a wedding in the Covasna–Brașov area, Panorama Events is one of the first venues that comes to mind. It is not the biggest or the most spectacular venue in the country. It solves, in one place, almost everything that usually complicates a wedding day: the ceremony, the party, the guests’ accommodation and the photo session.
The complex is at the exit from Sfântu Gheorghe towards Vâlcele, surrounded by forest, with views over the surrounding hills. Below you will find the facts you need to decide whether it is the right place for you: capacities, packages, accommodation, prices and, at the end, how the venue looks from behind the camera.
Where Panorama Events is and how to get there
The address is Calea Vâlcele, DN 13E no. 9, Sfântu Gheorghe, Covasna County. The event hall is part of the Panorama Boutique Hotel complex, next to the newer building, Panorama II. Travel times for guests from across central Romania:
- Sfântu Gheorghe: a few minutes by car from the centre
- Brașov: about 35 km, around 40 minutes
- Miercurea Ciuc: about one hour
- Bucharest: about 3 hours, via Brașov
The venue has generous free private parking. With several hundred guests arriving at once, that matters more than it sounds.
The event halls and their capacities
There are four separate spaces, so the venue suits a small ceremony and a wedding of several hundred guests equally well:
- Panorama Event Hall: up to 500 guests. The main hall, for large events.
- Forest Hall: up to 220 guests. Large glass surfaces open directly to the forest.
- Solara Hall: up to 200 guests. A hall full of natural light, facing the hills.
- Panorama Bistro: up to 70 guests, for civil ceremonies, christenings and intimate parties.
With around 150–200 guests, see Forest Hall and Solara Hall in the same visit. They are close in capacity and completely different in feel: one puts the forest in the window, the other the hills and the afternoon light.

The outdoor chapel: a ceremony at the venue
In the inner courtyard there is an outdoor chapel where a ceremony or a blessing can be held. You skip the hour of driving between the town hall, the church and the restaurant, which usually takes the best part out of the day. That leaves time for a relaxed outdoor moment, photographs with the family while everyone is still together, and a few frames at the best hour of the day. If you want the civil ceremony at the venue, check early with the registrar in Sfântu Gheorghe, because ceremonies outside the town hall are approved case by case. I explain the paperwork in my guide to getting married in Romania.
Accommodation and the spa
The complex has 33 rooms, 19 in Panorama Boutique Hotel and 14 modern rooms in Panorama II, which is more than 60 beds on site.
- Preferential guest rate (2026): 440 lei per room per night
- The bridal suite is offered free to the couple on the wedding night
- Spa and wellness area with a relaxation pool, a salt sauna and a Finnish sauna
All-inclusive packages and prices for 2026
Standard package: 115 EUR per person
- Menu: welcome champagne, starter, soup, main course and a second main course at midnight
- Full open bar: spirits, wine, beer, cocktails, soft drinks, water and coffee
- Sweets: a candy bar with sweet and savoury pastries, the wedding cake, a fruit table and ice cream

To give you a sense of scale: with 150 guests, the Standard package means around 17,250 euro for the restaurant alone. Your suppliers come on top: music, flowers, photographer, video, hair and make-up. These are the prices communicated by the venue for 2026, so confirm them at your visit. See how it all fits a realistic budget in my wedding budget guide.

Panorama Events through a photographer’s lens
- Natural light. Forest Hall and Solara Hall have large glass surfaces, so I can photograph until the evening almost without flash. Colours stay natural and wide frames of a full hall have atmosphere.
- The forest a few steps away. Twenty minutes between courses is enough for a set of portraits completely different from the hall.
- The courtyard and the chapel. An outdoor ceremony is by far the most photogenic option: guests’ faces are visible and the emotion is easy to read.
- Sunset towards the hills. The panoramic view is the main argument for the place. Keep 15 minutes free around sunset.
At a wedding with 400–500 guests, time goes faster than you expect, so agree two or three short windows in the schedule with your photographer. See how the result looks in my wedding photography in Brașov.

Who Panorama Events suits
- You have between 70 and 500 guests and want one venue for everything.
- Some guests travel far and need accommodation on site.
- You want nature around you, close to a town.
- You prefer a predictable budget with fewer surprises.
It suits less if you want a historic setting. For that, see Zabola Estate or Bethlen Castle. If you have your own catering or decor suppliers, ask from the start what can be taken out of the package. More options are in my guide to wedding venues in Romania.

Three practical tips before your visit: ask to see the hall set up for a real event, not empty; ask clearly until what time the party can run; and book 12–18 months ahead, especially for Saturdays in May, June, August and September. My own wedding planning guide covers the rest.
