Every wedding has its own schedule, but the day usually follows the same story. Here are the moments I document in Sighișoara and how we plan them together.

I start with the bride or the groom, as we agree. The dress, the suit, the rings, the invitation: I photograph the details while you do your make-up and get dressed, so we lose nothing of the emotion beforehand.

First look
The moment you see each other for the first time in your wedding outfits. Either with everyone around or just the two of you in a quiet place; we choose it beforehand.
- Afternoon
The ceremony
Religious, civil or both. I move quietly through the church or the hall, and on the way out I wait with the guests for the congratulations and the group photographs.
- Golden hour
The photo session
About an hour before sunset the light is warm and soft. We slip away for 30–45 minutes from the party while the guests take their seats.
- Evening
The party
The entrance into the restaurant, the first dance, the speeches, the dance floor. I stay with you until the cake, guests' reactions included.
A few weeks before the wedding we go through the day's schedule together, so I know where I need to be and when.
Sunset time in Sighișoara, month by month
The most beautiful light for portraits is the last hour before sunset. When you set the time of the ceremony and of the entrance into the restaurant, look at the table: in summer the sun sets late, and in winter the day ends early in the afternoon. That difference changes the whole schedule of the day.
The times are calculated for Sighișoara, on the 15th of each month, in Romanian time. They shift by a few minutes from one day to the next, and the hills around the citadel can “eat” the last minutes of light, which is why we start the session a little earlier.

Tips for couples planning a wedding in Sighișoara
Organising a wedding can be overwhelming, and choosing the photographer is only one of the important decisions. Here are a few practical tips, based on my experience with weddings in Sighișoara and the surrounding area:
Book the photographer early.
Serious photographers are booked 12–18 months ahead, especially in the warm season (May–September). If you already have a date in mind, look for your photographer as soon as possible: it is one of the first suppliers you confirm, not the last.
Choose the venue according to the season.
If you dream of an outdoor wedding on the medieval citadel or in the outdoor venues around it, summer and early autumn are ideal. For winter weddings, the elegant halls in the centre of Sighișoara offer indoor spaces with personality, whatever the weather.
Plan time for the photo session.
Golden hour, the hour before sunset, gives the warmest and most photogenic light. Organise the schedule so that you have 45–60 free minutes in that window. The result will certainly be worth it.
The required documents.

The editing process takes about 4–6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the event and the season. Good to know: within the first 1–3 days after the wedding you receive a preview with 50–80 of the most beautiful moments, to show family and to post on social media. All the final photographs arrive in a private online gallery, active for at least one year, from where you download them in full resolution.
I do not personally offer video services, but I constantly work with trusted videographers from Sighișoara whom I can recommend with full conviction. They have a documentary style similar to mine and we work very well as a team. If you want both photo and video, I can put you in touch directly.
